BlueJeans Telehealth

Apple Health Integration

Apple Health integration is focused on bringing pre-assessment vitals in to a televisit to help enhance a virtual encounter with data similar to what could be gathered in an in-person encounter.

For the initial integration, the data we will pull will include:

  • Heart rate data: heart rate, resting heart rate, walking heart rate average, ECG, & irregular heart rate events
  • Step Count
  • Number of times fallen
  • Walking: walking speed, stair ascent, stair descent
  • Sleep analysis

How the integration will work:

Patients who are joining from their iPhone, using the native BlueJeans iOS app, will be able to sync their Apple Health data from within the patient landing experience or within the televisit from the televisit tile to bring that data in to the visit. Once synced the provider will be able to see and interact with that Apple Health data from the televisit tile. The provider can expand data as well as screen share the data for using during the televisit.

Feature Support:

  • Patient Sync: Patient syncing of Apple Health Data will only be supported on BlueJeans native iOS app, ONLY on iPhone.
  • Provider View/Interact (within the televisit tile): BlueJeans native Mac, Win, iOS apps, WebRTC.

** Note: No support on native Android app until after v2 is released. No mobile WebRTC support for moderators
