UX Research Intern

This role is based out of our BlueJeans Dev center in the heart of Bangalore, India. We have other offices in Mountain View, United Kingdom and around the world.

At Bluejeans, we are looking for a talented UX Research Intern to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate should have experience planning and conducting interviews, secondary research, surveys, usability testing, and documentation.

As a UX Research Intern you will:
• Propose, plan, execute usability activities, heuristic evaluations, competition benchmarking at various stages of the development life-cycle.
• Planning and recommending methodologies or a mix of methodologies that is best suited to solve the problem statement.
•Work with a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined UX team of Designers, User Researchers and Product Managers in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment.
•Creating a screener document to identify the right participants.
•Moderating the research sessions and analyzing data to identify patterns to create insightful and actionable findings.
• Make impactful presentations - both verbal and written.

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in HCI, user research, anthropology or sociology.
• Familiarity with qualitative user research methodologies like ethnographic-style interviews and usability testing.
• Self-motivated and highly organized.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Comfortable in the design and prototyping tools (i.e., Sketch, InVision)
• Be open to objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

Bonus Points:
* Prior user research internship experience in product design companies.
* Have worked on Video communication or related product/app.
