Honorable Mention: Ministère de la Santé et de l’Action Sociale/Direction Générale de la Santé, Senegal
The General Directorate of Health, under the Senegal Ministry of Health and Social Action, effectively coordinated national health programs and funding requests through BlueJeans Meetings. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, virtual collaboration and data validation enabled the completion of funding applications totaling €34,712,016 (approximately US$38,107,371) for tuberculosis, malaria, and healthcare system strengthening. A grant of €33,046,869.3 was also obtained to support Senegal’s response to the pandemic. As a result, critical health programs received necessary funding, benefiting healthcare facilities and local communities in Senegal.

Within a week of the pandemic’s onset, the center trained more than 3,000 physicians and covered approximately 90% of relevant visits. UTSW Medical Center also integrated BlueJeans with its electronic medical record system, streamlining its virtual consultation process. With a significant percentage of its business consisting of video visits and various departments embracing virtual care, UTSW Medical Center has emerged as a leader in modernizing patient care.
Honorable Mention: Desde El Cafe
Desde el Café, the oldest non-musical radio show in Mexico’s city of Cancun, has modernized its broadcasting approach. With BlueJeans Meetings, the show now reaches audiences both locally and worldwide through broadcasts on traditional radio and Facebook Live. The platform seamlessly connects hosts, guests, and the radio station, enabling uninterrupted broadcasting during the COVID-19 pandemic. This integration has allowed Desde el Café to successfully adapt to the evolving media landscape while preserving its cultural and social significance.
Dekker Financial has improved its client communication and business practices by adopting virtual meetings through BlueJeans Meetings. This transition has enabled the Chandler, Arizona-based firm to connect with 95% of clients via video conferencing, resulting in increased efficiency, reduced travel costs, and better client satisfaction. BlueJeans Meetings has been particularly valuable in accelerating settlement processes for divorce financial consulting services. Brentford Football Club adopted BlueJeans Events for its inaugural hybrid Fan Forum last November, resulting in a significant boost in online attendance with over 500 supporters participating, doubling the physical venue’s capacity.
