We’re embarking on a roadshow to spread the word about Blue Jeans Video Conferencing, and en route we get to spend time in some pretty amazing cities! The first city on our list is Seattle, home to stunning mountain views, rain, and a plethora of coffee. If you’re planning on meeting us in Seattle on April 16, check out some fun facts about our venue!
Seattle Space Needle
A trip to Seattle is never complete without a ride to the top of the Space Needle, and this is going to be the perfect venue for our April 16 cocktail night featuring Seattle Children’s Hospital. The tower was officially opened in 1962 to impress the crowds coming for the World’s Fair. It stands at 605 feet, with some of the best views in the city. If you have time, you can dine at the SkyCity Restaurant, or ride to the Observation Deck to take in the magnificent views. Your ticket to the Blue Jeans event includes observation deck access. In addition to joining for drinks and hors d’oeuvres, you will learn about how Blue Jeans supports hospital workflow from Seattle Children’s Hospital. For example, when a young patient from Japan needed a heart transplant, initial patient consultations were conducted via Blue Jeans so the family could meet with the Japanese heart team and relevant care providers such as child care nurses, social workers, transplant team and manager of international guest services back in the states.
