This week is Customer Service Week, but every day is customer service day at BlueJeans by Verizon. That’s because we understand just how important those who communicate with our customers on a daily basis are.
The entire customer experience (CX) organization—spanning Technical Support/Provisioning, Onboarding, and Customer Success—along with our customers, are transforming the BlueJeans business and the way we do business, and I am honored to recognize the entire team today and every day.
The members of our customer service team are true leaders in delivering superior customer experiences and exemplify what it means to streamline processes, create new solutions, drive automation initiatives, and more to achieve better business outcomes—exemplified by the fact that BlueJeans Meetings was recently recognized as “leading the pack (by far) for customer support with a 9.3 out of 10 by TrustRadius 2021” and previous winner of a silver International Business Stevie® Award in Customer Service Team of the Year - Computer Services & Software category.
In my 25 years with Verizon, I’ve had the opportunity to lead several dynamic teams across Customer Service, Marketing, Business Strategy and Operations and Sales, and cultivated strategic relationships and gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of the customer lifecycle, including service delivery, solution management, and account governance. This team is something special.
In a time when digital interactions between consumers and brands are increasingly driven by AI-powered chat bots, the human component becomes that much more important. Our customers rely on us, and work in partnership with us, to detect and address their issues.
Great customer service is a 24-hour job. And while customer care requires a total commitment from every part of the organization, it’s really centered around the support team who work tirelessly to make sure our customers have the best experience possible.
