Today we announced that Intuit CTO Tayloe Stansbury has joined the BlueJeans Board of Directors. With more than 35 years of experience in building scalable technology platforms and organizations across a number of leading companies, Tayloe’s vast understanding of the fields of cloud computing and engineering from working at such companies as Intuit, VMware, Ariba, Calico Commerce and Xerox make him perfectly suited to come on board to help us steer this next phase of growth at BlueJeans.
In a previous post, I talked about how our team and its ability to execute is our greatest asset. There’s a real market opportunity for collaboration and communication technologies that’s being driven by the need to keep pace with the modern workforce—but to get there, it takes a team with strength, determination and expertise. As an established technology industry veteran and visionary, Tayloe’s experience will help us expand the BlueJeans footprint in this global market.
As the executive vice president and chief technology officer of Intuit—the leading provider of business and financial management solutions for small businesses, accounting professionals, and consumers—Tayloe has been responsible for all product engineering and information technology for the company. Overseeing more than 4,700 people across the areas of data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, information technology and hosting is no small feat in itself. On top of that, Tayloe has also been on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations, including serving on the board of Trustees for Harvey Mudd College from 2011 to 2017.
Tayloe is uniquely positioned to provide BlueJeans strategic guidance in developing world-class software at scale and advising BlueJeans on our transition to the Cloud. At Intuit, Tayloe led one of the largest private to public cloud service transitions on record.
At BlueJeans, we continue to make great strides in broadening the scope and depth of our cloud-native platform. With an ecosystem of strategic partners and resellers, more customers are enjoying the BlueJeans meetings platform where the emphasis is on spontaneous collaboration, crystal clear audio, and support for any endpoint and device. Now, with Tayloe’s addition to the BlueJeans Board of Directors, we can do even more great things to change the way people meet and work.
Please help us welcome Tayloe to the Board. He has the skills and resolve to lead us to success, and we are fortunate and excited to work with him to transform the future of work!
