BlueJeans Adds More Firepower to Executive Team

In order to turn BlueJeans’ vision for transforming the meeting experience into a reality, BlueJeans relies on its people. Our team and its ability to execute is our greatest asset. To that end, I am delighted to share that we have added three more industry veterans to the fold. These exemplary hires round out our executive team and will help BlueJeans continue to push the envelope and evolve the way teams communicate.

Let me introduce Walt Weisner, George Mogannam, and Matthew Collier.

Walt Weisner is our new Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and is highly regarded as one of the most seasoned leaders in the evolving field of customer success. Here at BlueJeans, we are extremely happy that he saw the light and decided to switch sides. You see, Walt was formerly an advisor to Zoom. He also worked for WebEx and RingCentral. Quite simply, there is no one who knows our industry, what our customers need, and how to help them better than Walt.

Our new CRO, George Mogannam, is recognized for his expertise in successfully scaling out sales teams globally. He joins us from Actiance, where he was SVP of Worldwide Sales and Service. After spending a number of years as a sales leader at IBM, he led highly successful teams at Crossbeam Systems (acquired by Blue Coat) and Avid Technology. This successful track record prepares BlueJeans for continued revenue acceleration and market leadership. 

Matthew Collier is a business development powerhouse, with tremendous connections across our landscape. His entire career has been devoted to identifying partnerships and alliances required to drive brand awareness and new revenue opportunities. From his early tenure at Verizon, where he focused on video and collaboration, through his years as VP of Business Development at Polycom, to his most recent position as SVP of Strategic Business Development at Huddly, Matt is the perfect fit to strike new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
