Blue Crew: Meet Will Arnett
We’re kicking off the year with a special feature of our own Will Arnett all the way from across the pond. Will is the curator of the weekly BlueJeans Tips and Tricks feature on Linkedin and an incredible part of the organization. Let’s learn more about Will!

What’s your name and job:
Will Arnett, CX Ops & Enablement Manager, EMEA
How long have you been with BlueJeans?
4.5 years. It will be 5 years in June 2023.
How have your unique experiences and insights made you successful in your career?
I have worked in unified communications for 23 years. I have seen a lot of changes, and a lot never change. I have always tried to learn from experiences to improve myself professionally.
What do you enjoy about working at BlueJeans/Verizon?
My colleagues past and present. There are times where work is hard and stressful. There is no need to suffer in silence so ask for help and opinions from your colleagues who may be feeling the same or can offer help.
Who/what are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?
I have always taken great satisfaction in helping customers and colleagues. When people come to me for help it's in my nature to help them as much as I can with either the answer to the question or steering them in the right direction. A few times people come back to you with a 'thank you' and that always makes me feel I have helped and made a difference.
Which benefits are your favorite and why?
I was never big on WFH. I felt I needed to be in the office to be in work mode. The pandemic forced me to WGH for the best part of 2 years and it taught me I could do it and be productive. VZ allowing the hybrid approach to work allows for an improved work-life balance, more efficient use of time, control over work hours and work location and burnout mitigation.
What’s the most unique part about working here?
Working with people from different backgrounds, cultures, countries.
What's something most people don't know about you?
My wife and I love eating out and we try to go somewhere new once a month. It could be for dinner or a quick light meal somewhere just as long as we have never been before. My favourite food is Indian food.
If you could go back in time and tell the 16 year old version of you something what would it be?
Learn another language. I am instantly impressed by people who are bilingual, trilingual etc. I wish I had listened more in class as it is a great asset to have when travelling and in the workplace.
How do you handle difficult or challenging days?
It is impossible to know everything. I try to break a big challenge into smaller easier to achieve challenges then they don't seem quite so overwhelming.
Any words of advice or a favorite quote you would like to share with us?
It's ok to make mistakes, as long as you learn from them.
You cannot keep doing the same thing, the same way and expect a different outcome.
What's your social handle so people can follow you on social media?
You can find me on LinkedIn, https://www.linkedin.com/in/will-arnett/
