What’s your name and job?
Michelle Gonnella, Head of Global Events and Webinars, BlueJeans by Verizon

How long have you been with BlueJeans/Verizon?
1 year and 8 months with BlueJeans, and almost 6 years total with Verizon!

Which benefits are your favorite and why?
Verizon’s Maternity leave program! I recently had my first baby son and I was very thankful for this program! Verizon understands how important time with your newborn is by providing an excellent amount of maternity leave time to spend with your baby, as well as additional benefits for Mom and baby!

What’s the most unique part about working here?
Verizon is a company many have made a life career with! The number of colleagues who have 15+ years with Verizon is incredible! After my 6 years with Verizon, I see how quickly years go by and how Verizon employees are always empowered to strive for success! 

What's something most people don't know about you? 
I am bilingual in Italian, I love history, and traveling with my family! I also like to volunteer my time by helping with event planning in the community. I also really enjoy playing pickleball and golf! 

If you could go back in time and tell the 16 year old version of you something what would it be?
To always remember that everything happens for a reason, and that things will fall into place! Everyday is a learning opportunity! 

Any words of advice or a favorite quote you would like to share with us?
One of my favorite quotes growing up has always been: “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire” by St. Catherine of Siena. This quote has always inspired me to do my best in everything, and with that my life can have a positive effect on others!
