How long have you been with BlueJeans/Verizon?
Two and a half years
What’s the most unique part about working here?
I started my career with the Singapore Army for 10.5yrs. The guiding principles of discipline, integrity, ethics, respect, courage, etc have been embedded into the way I carry myself personally and professionally. I have begun my sales career doing cold calling with the traditional "door knocking" and subsequently moved through managing the SMB to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers also from domestic to regional and international roles. I constantly keep myself up to date with the latest technology knowledge and news that I enjoy reading as part of my routine.
What do you enjoy about working at BlueJeans/Verizon?
The APAC team is a close-knitted group and we leverage on one another's strengths to uplift the entire team.
Who/what are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?
Verizon's Credo is something that I hold close to my heart because I believe one can be successful anywhere so long as we keep the principles in constant check.
Which benefits are your favorite and why?
Hybrid working gives us the flexibility to manage our schedules and it also allows us to walk the talk in the products that we are promoting.
What’s the most unique part about working here?
The culture of startups having lots of opportunities to learn with increased job satisfaction all within an MNC.
If you could go back in time and tell the 16 year old version of you something what would it be?
Keep doing what you do because every challenge/setbacks that you face in life is a life experience that you will learn and remember.
How do you handle difficult or challenging days?
A constant reminder of the purpose in what you are doing and if it is worth the effort. In general, a reality check. Family has been the pillar of my strengths.
