What’s your name and job: Bill Jovcevski - Enterprise Account Manager
How long have you been with BlueJeans/Verizon? 12 months
How have your unique experiences and insights made you successful in your career? Always putting my customer first at all times, understanding, listening to their challenges and being on the journey with them. I always put my customer at the center of organizational decision-making instead of organizing around products (I sell a solution not a product) this way I proactively deliver a positive customer experience by designing and delivering with the customer in mind.
What do you enjoy about working at BlueJeans/Verizon? Verizon as a whole is an amazing place to work but to be part of Bluejeans By Verizon and helping my clients modernize today’s meetings to better meet the needs of today’s workforce with the Bluejeans video collaboration platform this is what I get most excited about.
Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company? Senior Leadership Team as they are true thought leaders and lead by example, they will drop the “me” mentality and take up the “we” mentality and combine efforts and inspire other people to do the best that they can do for the benefit of the company.
Which benefits are your favorite and why? As you can imagine working for a global organization such as Verizon the benefits list is quite long, however the benefit I favor the most is Hybrid Work Model, which allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Saving time that would otherwise be spent on a long commute allows me to have better work-life balance. In return this has allowed me to not only be more productive but to also spend quality time watching my two children grow (Nicholas and Zara) and be there for their milestone moments.
What’s the most unique part about working here? I would have to say it's the people I work with daily. Whether it's my direct colleagues, product managers, senior leaders, C-Suite, marketing, product development we have access to everyone, always too happy to engage and everyone is just a BlueJeans meeting link away, where everyone is treated equally.
What's something most people don't know about you? I hold a Black Belt in Rhee International Taekwon-Do (Australia)
Any words of advice or a favorite quote you would like to share with us? Advice I would give is to be quick to compliment, thank, and appreciate others and treat everyone, even those you don’t agree with or even don’t like very much, with great kindness and respect.
Favorite quote is one I made up "Where there's a Bill there's a Way" and another one of my favorites is "Work Smarter not Harder".
