Teleportation was the hypothetical transfer of matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them–until now. 

While common in science fiction literature and pop culture, we’re excited to share that today, through the power of 5G and BlueJeans’ strength in video interoperability, Teleportation has arrived. Customers may use BlueJeans Events to virtually teleport their teams from home, the office, the globe into one place. 

Ok…so this is a bit of April Foolery, but collaboration is no joke to us. And the combination of BlueJeans Studio and Events is a tried and true way to provide a sense of ‘togetherness’ for distributed teams.

With live interpretation and automated, closed-captioning translations in over 70 languages,  customers around the globe can instantly transport to different places virtually for a more inclusive meeting experience for attendees across the world. 

With the addition of Studio, customers will be able to transcend their land-locked limitations by easily creating stunning, TV-quality live streams that engage audiences and elevate their brand. We know this product is sure to be transformational—it even won “Best Innovation for Virtual Meetings” in the 2022 Best of Enterprise Connect Awards!

Speaking of Enterprise Connect, this year’s event rounded out a busy month for the BlueJeans by Verizon team, which also included a major presence at SXSW, HIMSS, and ViVE. 

From speaking sessions to new announcements and product demos, this month’s trade show bonanza reminded us of the benefits of being back together in person. We loved getting to mingle with our customers, partners and friends out on the trade show floor. 

At Enterprise Connect, we announced iOS and Android updates across mobile, home and conference room devices with the likes of Meta Portal, Poly (RaaS) and Owl Labs (Owl Meeting+). We also unveiled BlueJeans for Corporate Learning and Training, a new feature set within BlueJeans Meetings designed to facilitate corporate learning and development sessions. Both at Enterprise Connect and SXSW, Studio was a standout star. Attendees loved seeing how it can really make virtual events pop! We can’t wait to show you more soon…

At HIMSS, we announced new data-driven feature enhancements and integrations to our BlueJeans Telehealth solution that will allow providers to pull televisit activity, give diagnostic intel, and leverage more EHR platforms to improve healthcare insights (up to 85 with Redox Engines!). We also announced a new partnership to sell BlueJeans Telehealth through Kajeet’s US channel partners.

March was a jam-packed month that we look forward to replicating in the remaining months of 2022. We may not be able to teleport you (yet), but we’re clearly on a path of innovation that will transcend our yesteryears.
